Each elementary school has Gifted teacher who teaches a full day, or five segments weekly, in a resource classroom. Multidisciplinary units of instruction are presented with an emphasis on research, critical thinking, creative thinking, communication, and knowledge of self. Units are based on academic content areas but provide for extension and enrichment beyond the regular classroom.
Both middle schools have a number of gifted-endorsed teachers on staff. Those teachers offer tasks that are focused on the both national and state standards, but are set apart by content, teaching strategies, and expectations of mastery appropriate for gifted students. When a full-time gifted teacher is not available, a gifted-endorsed teacher works to plan appropriate lessons to be presented by the regular education teacher.
Students in grades 9-12 take Advanced Content Classes and Advanced Placement Classes are available at both high schools. Other rigorous opportunities are available online through Dual Enrollment and the Georgia Virtual School. The schedules and placement depends on the classes offered each semester.
